Southeast Asia holds some of the most impressive scenery and old stone constructions in a place where sacred temples remain standing despite the thousands of years that passed by. Angkor Watt is perhaps one of the most massive and mind-blowing sights in Cambodia, something that so many have traveled across the planet to experience.

Today remain more than 100 stone temples in the Angkor Watt temple structures, built by the Khmer civilization between 80 and 1220 AD. The history book says Angkor was chosen for its strategic military position, but computer simulations have shown the construction plan is built following the stars' location in the Draco constellation at Spring equinox in 10,5000 BC.

The temple is dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu, with the enormous temple being a mirror of the Mt. Meru, with rectangular walls and moats symbolizing both the mountains and the cosmic ocean.
